Automatic digital subject program selection with super macro mode.
This convenient function automatically selects the best recording mode for your images. You can also choose an ideal setting from Portrait, Sports action, Landscape, Sunset, Night portrait, as well as the all-new Text mode. Plus, get crisp and sharp close-ups with all-new Super Macro Mode. It automatically lets you get as close as 6cm (2.4 inches) to your subject for outstanding close-up photography.

Multi-segment metering.
Multi-segment (256) metering automatically gauges and adjusts light readings over the entire image area to give you the best exposure for your subject. Also, when shooting backlit or high contrast subjects, choose Spot Metering to achieve sensitive and highly accurate exposure settings.

Noise reduction:
Noise Reduction automatically prevents the blemishes and graininess associated with slow-shutter shots, for exceptional night digital images.

XR Movie & Editing.
XR (Extended Recording) Movie gives you the power to record movie clips with sound for the entire length of the memory Card. Night Movie allows you to record clearer movies in dark settings, as well as take super smooth movies at 30-frames per second. Movie Frame Capture saves individual frames taken from a movie with an option for 15 seconds of audio, while Edit-movie function eliminates unwanted sections from a movie clip.

Audio recording.
Voice Memo allows you to record sound immediately after you've taken a shot. Audio Caption enables you to record sound simultaneously during playback. While both let you record up to 15-seconds of sound.

Crop frame.
Get rid of those unwanted portions of your stills with the Konica Minolta x50‘sCrop Frame function. In playback mode using the up/down and left/right keys, you can reposition and enlarge images to create a newly cropped original.

Image pasting.
It’s easy to personalize your pictures. Just overlay parts of an image in one of nine frames, on any chosen photo.

Slide show playback / image rotation.
The Konica Minolta x50 delivers Slide Show Playback for viewing still pictures or movies with exciting dissolve effects. And when enjoying your images on a big screen, the Konica Minolta x50 gives you Image Rotation. It allows you to change the settings to automatically rotate your vertical shots from their horizontal positioning.
